About us
Fur Union is a nonprofit organization serving the Sudanese-American Fur community. Our registered office is at 1450 Heritage Lane, Suite 200, Atlanta, GA 30309. Fur Union is a registered 501(c)(3) nonprofit organization (EIN: pending).
Use of the website
You agree to use the site lawfully and respectfully, including not to:
- Attempt to gain unauthorized access to any part of the site, its servers, or its databases.
- Use the site to send unsolicited messages, malware, or other harmful content.
- Copy, scrape, or republish substantial portions of our content without permission.
- Misrepresent your identity in forms, donations, or volunteer applications.
Intellectual property
All content on this site — including text, photos, graphics, and the Fur Union name and logo — belongs to Fur Unionor to the contributors who created it. You may share links and short quotations with attribution. For any other reuse (press, educational, or research purposes), please contact us first.
Photos of community members are published with their consent. If you appear in a photo and would like it removed, contact us and we will take it down promptly.
Donations
- Donations are voluntary gifts to a registered 501(c)(3) organization and are tax-deductible to the fullest extent allowed by U.S. law. Tax receipts are issued via email.
- Donations are generally non-refundable. If you believe a donation was made in error, contact us within 30 days and we will review it.
- Recurring donations continue until you cancel them. You can cancel at any time by replying to the receipt email or contacting us.
Volunteer and form submissions
Information submitted through volunteer applications, RSVPs, or contact forms is handled according to our Privacy Policy. Submitting a form does not create a contract or guarantee a specific role or response.
Third-party links
The site may link to third-party websites (partner organizations, news articles, social media). We are not responsible for the content, policies, or practices of those external sites.
Disclaimer
The site and its content are provided “as is.” While we work to keep information accurate and current, we make no warranty that the site will be uninterrupted, error-free, or free from security risks.
